"Alexander explores a different side on this release. A change from the acoustic finger picked "American Primitive" stylings of earlier releases (this move was indicated on the Elextric 1 cassette, still awaiting a volume 2...) with an overblown interpretation of blues/primitive guitar work. As the piece progress there are glimpses of the saturated guitar work resolving to more placid tones more in tune with some earlier releases, throughout the track the contemplative nature of Alexander recordings remains. The B side comprises a glorious drone, another exploration into the saturated sounds on the previous side. Alexander is holding the torch and carrying the solo guitar towards the next horizon."
